Buying experience was very easy. It said on the Timemore website that there might be taxes to pay when shipping to the UK which they can refund, but I wasn't charged. I was using the in built grinder on my sage machine before this and this is a big upgrade. It looks good, it's much quieter than the sage, and the grind size consistency is a real step up. I haven't put enough coffee through it yet to season the burrs fully but I already love it.
I am having coffees that are lacking in body and complexity. Gotta understand better
La verdad es que estoy muy satisfecho y sorprendido con su funcionamiento. El envío fue perfecto, el embalaje con doble protección. En el día a día, su uso es muy sencillo, muy silencioso, es robusto, con un diseño bonito y casi no desperdicia nada del café. Es mi primer molinillo de estas características y me decidí por este modelo, después de ver diferentes análisis en YouTube, concretamente el de Lance Hedrick. Ahora toca disfrutarlo en cada preparación de café.
Ik ben heel blij met mijn Timemore, hij werkt goed. Makkelijk te bedienen, weinig tot geen retentie. Dus heerlijke koffie! Fijne ook dat je naast de maalgraad de snelheid kan instellen.
I gifted it to a friend. He seems to like it. Also got 3 notifications to get this comment. Tempted to leave a bad review cause the finish is a bit surprising.
Basically it’s not a bad Produkt. But the dosing cup for grinded coffee doesn’t fit on the portafilter with channeling problems. In this price range this shouldn’t be a problem. With a better cup this problem wouldn’t exist.
It seems to be robust and well designed. If you want to use it for filter coffee you’ll need to grind up to 1Kg to have the blades seasoned enaough to avoid too much fines. The anti-popcorn doesn’t work very well IF you are in the filter range, from time to time some parts of a bean remains between the blades without being grinded. Cleaning is neither difficult nor straightforward
The grinder is great. I'm having a lot of fun with it. The dial feels very premium, and it's extremely quiet when I hot start and when I grind as well. The magnetic cup is very convenient, it could have been possibly a little shorter, to have more space to place it, but again the magnetic force is going to help. The only issue I have is that often (almost every time) I end up finishing a run with coffee beans still stuck in the upper dispenser: I give them a little spray before grinding, as most do, and that is probably increasing the resistance/grip. I give it a little notch, and down they go.

After a long decision and comparison of multiple grinders, decided to upgrade my conical for an 064S. Incredible upgrade, pretty easy to adjust and even guess the correct grind size after 2 weeks. Retention is very good as well, usually spot on 0.0 grams or sometimes 0.1 grams. Very happy with the upgrade.

It's very good! The only thing I would like to have fixed in the next iteration is: when one grinds quite coarse and then tries to lower the grind size, there seem to be some small pieces that get in the way of the rotation mechanism and the adjustment isn't smooth - one kind of needs to fight the knob to get to the lower grind size.

Took a few kilos of coffee to season it and to really get the best out of it but it's been fantastic so far. The shots I've had have been distinct and delicious and the pour-overs I've made with it have been delicious. It's nice and quiet, doesn't take up tons of space and looks beautiful. Love the simple workflow of it, the knocker is super helpful, I love it. The grind dial is granular and accurate and easy to use. Very happy with my Sculptor, a delight.
