I want to say that I'm not a huge fan of coffee, I'm more like a tea guy. This is my second manual grinder. My first one is from Hario and it didn't went well, the grinding quality was low (compared to S5) and it took ages to grind. The one I purchased from you is something out of this galaxy! I've read tons of reviews of different models including C3, C5, S3 and other manufacturers and then I've found out the new S5 is just landed and I've found few reviews. I want to be honest, I don't trust the reviewers much, because it looks like a paid advertisement and people reviewing it doesn't look like honest to me. For me it was just an presentation of what is existing on market. So when I received it and tried, it exceeded all my expectations! I never thought that manual grinder could be so easy to use and that it produces very high quality of grinded coffee beans. I'm brewing coffee in different ways (espresso with outin nano & mino, bialetti moka pot, v60) and I already tried all of it and the taste is completely different from what I had before! I've shared my experience with some friends and they were also shocked how could the same coffee beans could taste differently based on how it was grinded. I would like to thank you for creating such incredible device! This is one of the best purchases I did recently!

The S5 Pro is an excellent grinder, but the handle on mine is a bit loose and it’s noisy while grinding. Apart from that, it’s a great grinder.

This is truly a quality built product. I read about it when it was only available in Asia and waited for the UK launch. This is my first manual grinder and originally I was going to buy a much cheaper one but the features and build quality of this I felt, was worth the Extra price. Purely for marketing purposes, the West has added the word Pro. Originally it was simply the Timemore Chestnut S5. Mine was shipped through Germany. It took a while to arrive but was packaged very well. There is a £5 shipping charge also. My initial experience very easy to use. Excellent at grinding. Excellent at choosing the coarseness or fineness overall brilliant!

I love this grinder. The handling is fantastic, the finish is gorgeous, it fits my hands perfectly (big hands, the crack is awesome to hold), it grinds fairly easily, even for espresso (though it does need shims to achieve 9 bar spro) and the coffee it makes is fantastic. I also own the S3 and comparatively this gives sweeter, punchier cups, whereas the S3 gives clearer, cleaner cups. I'm very happy to add this lovely piece to my growing Timemore grinder collection.
