Inside the core, a dense, staggered network of contact points distributes water evenly across the coffee bed to eliminate uneven channels. As the liquid converges toward the spout, the narrowing 3-zone geometry naturally accelerates the drawdown, preventing the frustrating late-stage stalls that can over-extract and ruin lighter roasts.

Six distinct perimeter vents around the upper chamber let the brew breathe. By equalizing internal and external air pressure, the filter paper stays properly seated against the walls, allowing your pre-infusion to proceed evenly and your flow rate to remain completely predictable.

The heart of the brewer is a 304 stainless steel Brew Core that rapidly hits thermal equilibrium with your coffee bed and holds it longer. It is paired with a food-grade ABS insulated Thermal Sleeve that traps heat inside the chamber for maximum extraction stability, while keeping the outer grip perfectly cool to the touch.

While Vector is sized for standard 01 paper filters, the internal architecture stretches further than traditional cones. It comfortably handles doses from 10g up to 18g without choking, giving you the brewing capacity of a much larger device in a compact, efficient footprint.

Make it yours.

Matt Winton presented us with a counterintuitive insight: more contact points between filter and dripper can speed up flow, not slow it down. The geometry inside Vector is built around that idea. It performs at the level competition baristas need — and stays forgiving enough for daily brewing at home.

All systems flow

Hold temperatures, reduce stalls, push extraction higher. One dripper, fundamentally engineered around flow. Meet Vector.

3 ZONE, 5 LAYER STRUCTURE

Steady flow from first pour to last drop.

ANTI-CHANNELING LATTICE

Even distribution at doses up to 18g.

HIGH AIRFLOW GROOVES

Improves breathability and minimizes stalls.

INSULATED THERMAL SLEEVE

Locks heat in, keeps the grip cool.

304 STAINLESS BREWER CORE

Reaches thermal equilibrium fast and holds it longer.

Under pressure. Over-achiever.

Three distinct zones work together to keep extraction steady from first pour to last drop — reducing channeling, stabilizing the bed, and eliminating the late-stage stalls that ruin lighter roasts.

Stabilization Zone

Maintains pressure between the filter paper and body.

Sealing Zone

Creates a pressure barrier between the upper and lower sections of the brewer.

Acceleration Zone

A negative pressure zone incrementally increases flow rate from top to bottom across three layers.

Fast. Faster. Fastest.

A dense, staggered lattice of contact points that distributes flow evenly across the bed and prevents channeling. As the brew converges toward the spout, the narrowing geometry accelerates drawdown for a cleaner brew.

Let your brew breathe.

Six perimeter vents keep the upper chamber open to atmosphere, equalizing internal and external pressure. The filter paper stays properly seated, the flow stays stable, and pre-infusion proceeds evenly and predictably.

Material improvements.

A 304 stainless steel Brewer Core rapidly reaches thermal equilibrium with the coffee bed, while the food-grade ABS Thermal Sleeve limits heat loss to the surrounding environment. Plus, a precision-threaded locking ring clamps the assembly together and comes apart just as easily for cleaning or swapping parts.

Made for 01.

Vector uses standard 01 filter papers — the most widely available size in specialty coffee. But the internal geometry stretches further than most 01 cones: it handles up to 18g without the late-stage stalling that smaller drippers run into at higher doses.

Customer photo review of Crystal Eye VECTOR Dripper

Heavy metal! Works pretty well - as promised and expected - with the difficult-to-extract (ultra-)light roasted beans. Fast and consistent, fun to use.

Crystal Eye VECTOR Dripper

Updating my review after taking my time with this dripper. While I'm not sure it's as revolutionary as it claims to be, it really is capable of producing some delightful, sweet and balanced cups—even with my limited skills
