Works great, fast and reliable! Pour over mode is more useful than expected, especially after getting used to it. Initially it wasnt easy as the timer stops when giving the brewer a swirl and is taken off the scale unintenionally when in pourover mode. On the otherhand it is quite handy for the timer to stop when finishing a brew and taking off the brewer. If you dont want any of that just use it normal mode
At first, I was impressed by the functionality of the Timemore Basic 3.0. The scale felt high-quality and worked perfectly in the beginning. Unfortunately, after only about two weeks of use, a defect appeared: in Pour-Over mode, the coffee-to-water ratio can no longer be adjusted. As a result, one of the most important features has become practically unusable for me. What is even more disappointing, however, is the customer service. In response to my inquiry, I only received a message saying that the issue had been forwarded to technical support. Now, after almost two weeks, I still have not received any further response or solution. My warranty claims have also been ignored so far. For this reason, despite the promising start, I unfortunately cannot recommend this scale and would currently advise against buying it.
The Timemore Basic 3.0 impresses with its high-quality design, modern technology, and wide range of features. It offers many useful functions for coffee brewing and feels well-built overall. However, there is room for improvement when it comes to usability. Once the protective film is removed, the functions and touch controls are not always easy to identify, which can make operation more challenging for beginners, less experienced baristas, or users switching from a different scale. The scale could also respond a bit faster to changes in weight. In addition, the touch controls should better distinguish between actual button presses and weight being applied to the weighing platform. Touch inputs are often recognized with a delay or not at all, requiring multiple attempts. At times, it seems as though the scale interprets the touch input as additional weight on the platform rather than a command, resulting in delayed or missed inputs. The included silicone pad serves its purpose but tends to shift around quite easily during regular use. From a software perspective, I would also appreciate more flexibility. For example, it would be useful to have the option to exclude the blooming phase from the brew timer. Likewise, the coffee-to-water ratio should remain stored when the timer is reset or restarted, rather than being cleared along with the timer or tarring. Overall, the Timemore Basic 3.0 is a capable and well-designed coffee scale with a lot of potential. Despite the issues mentioned above, the price-to-performance ratio is good. With a few improvements to usability and software functionality, it could become an even more user-friendly product.
Great scales, the mat is slightly hard to clean as the coffee gets in between the “ribs”
sometimes she is with tara on 0,00 and before the first drop espresso is in the cup the scale measures 6 gramm. the scale is a toy for kids… will buy a acaia lunar!!!!!
Gute und genaue Waage. Schön kompakt. Auch der Akku hält bislang ohne dass ich laden musste, was über USB ja einfach geht. Bin sehr zu frieden. A good, accurate scale. Nice and compact. The battery has lasted so far without me having to charge it, which is easy to do via USB. I'm very satisfied.

My husband uses this to make coffee every day. It has all kinds of features, and although he hasn't quite mastered all of them yet, he seems very satisfied with it.

My first dedicated coffee scale so I can’t compare but to me the scale has nice touch controls that are very responsive. It is quick to update the weight and it seems very accurate. All in all I think it is a great device for a good price.

I like the features like auto timer and flow rate and ratio, however it's much harder to pick up than the basic 1 which I had before and it turns off too quickly, so the ratio I saved is usually reset before it becomes useful.

Today I tested the timemore basic 3.0 the first time. The weighing and timing experience is very cool. I like the Espresso mode. Have not figured out the ratio feature yet. As my flatmate owns the timemore mini I was surprised about the size of the timemore basic 3.0. As I liked the measurements of the mini. But I will keep the big one now ;-).
A very precise scale, fast response, battery lasts very long.
I think my scale is having some issues. In the standard mode it weighs things correctly. Once I put it into espresso mode, it appears that the weight scale is all off. The grams measurement is not accurate, and this is the primary use case i have for it. Is there a way to reset or calibrate the scale for espresso mode specifically?
The tare button doesn’t always respond direct, which is anoying.

I use this for coffee brewing and crafting handmade cosmetics. For coffee, it’s looks fine. But when I use it for cosmetic making, it act funny. I need very precise measurements so I bought this one as it can weigh 0.1g difference. But while I was adding my ingredients, I noticed the weight shown went down slowly. Count down like movements and end up go down around 3g in 5 minutes or so. I end up not know exact amount of ingredients I put in. This is not what I expected and I’m not sure if it’s faulty or it’s measuring the amount evaporated?
